After missing out on their 1st concert last year (arghhhh), I was all prepped for 28 June 2014! I still remember the day when I first heard and and sway along to their song, Fire, while mixing SQ Korean Pop segment. My audio producer days… one of my longest and most loved job. Anyway, I was quickly hooked by the catchy hip hop beat and their avant guarde fashion! I LOVE 2NE1!!!
I heard so much about the crazy and fun concert they had last year and was looking forward to ours. I was a little disappointed for the entire concert ended by 9.20pm? Even though the girls powered through a 21 song list, I was hoping to get a chance to catch their individual solo act.
I can replay their MVs over and over again on my lappy but I don’t quite appreciate watching them at the concert. I would rather see the girls in action! The lengthy video reminded me of Michael Jackson’s concert, kinda same style and I didn’t really enjoy it.
The silly me also won 2NE1 soundcheck but I overlook the timing as I didn’t want to leave my girls (Michelle and Zerika) behind. I should have registered and exchange for a pass! #soverygoondu
During the concert, Dara revealed that they might be bringing their family along soon for a concert. She meant YG Family of course and by soon, I wasn’t expecting this fast!!!
