We all spend quite a bit of time on our phones already, but Wanelo, an app that’s been around for two years, is making it so we’ll be spending even more time on our phones by cutting into the amount of time we spend shopping. E-commerce has been all the rage for a few years, with huge websites that offer the chance to sell secondhand items. Wanelo, however, has changed the game, making it possible to buy items straight from retailers themselves, right on your phone.
In the past, Wanelo’s success had been hampered by the fact that many of the items shown on the app could only be purchased by being redirected to the mobile websites of the retailers. Recently, however, Wanelo announced that they had entered into partnerships with over 200 retailers, including big names such as Urban Outfitters, for customers to be able to purchase items right from the app itself. Other updates include being able to talk to your friends about items you want to buy from right inside the app. It truly looks as though Wanelo is on the verge of becoming the only shopping app you could ever need.
With over 300,000 stores and even more small shops already selling their items on Wanelo, it’s easy to lose track of time as you browse through the items on the shop. Just remember to check that you’re connected to WiFi when you use the app. http://blog.pocketfruity.com/gaming-tips/maximise-your-mobile-gaming-experience/#.VHRFk8kvs8I
A blog post on Pocket Fruity says that, “It’s another good way to save mobile battery, it’s cheaper because you won’t use up all your data allowance, and Wi-Fi is just generally more reliable. 3G is good, but can be a bit temperamental depending on where you are, what network you’re on and how much data allowance you have.” Even if you’re on a more reliable 4G network, the amount of information Wanelo loads can take a toll on your data allowance and on your battery, so try to stick to WiFi when you can.
You can download Wanelo for both iOS and Android here.
