Appointed by Singapore Tourism Board as a food ambassador, who also made her name as a food columinist in the late 1980s, Violet Oon is said to be one of the most recognisable names in Singapore’s food scene!
Growing up in Malacca, Violet Oon’s interest in cooking begin when she was young. She turned to her nonya aunts for cooking tips and thus her Peranakan heritage has been a great influence in Violet’s cooking style.
Violet Oon’s kitchen is a local bistro with a twist! Serving her signature Nyonya favourites along with a delectable variety of drinks and dishes carefully selected and curated to match the menu.

Otak Panini S$15.00 – very interesting way of eating the otak with caramelised onions on a crispy Panini bread.
Asian Big Breakfast S$20.00 – Nasi Kuning also known as yellow rice is usually served with a variety of side dishes and in this Asian Big Breakfast, it consist of Otak, fried chicken wing, sambal egg, ikan billis. Yummy!
Bangers and Mash S$19.00 – Made up of Cumberland sausage, Chorizo and Bratwurst, served together with creamy mashed potatoes. Woooo-lala.
Smoked Salmon Scramble Eggs S$20.00 – One of the most common and favourite combination found in many brunch menu, don’t you agree? Crispy toast with creamy smoked salmon scramble eggs.
Muesli Jar S$9.50 – The color itself is enticing enough and after taking a bite into it, I am in love! The perfect chilled dessert to end the lovely brunch. Muesli served with yogurt, fresh berries and honey.
