With over 400 exciting exhibits, you have to check it out! I had so much fun inside going in awe between the strange, the shocking and the beautiful. There are works of art made from everyday objects, incredible collections, and strange hobbies, one has to see it to believe it!
The luckiest room in the world features the world’s luckiest collection of charms and fortune related exhibits including a million-dollar Buddha which I couldn’t resist rubbing and getting some good luck, ancient gambling coins, and even an Olympic Torch!

Your kids are going to love it for even us adults were having tons of fun inside. You think you have seen T-Rex in the movies, wait till you see the “actual one” rawrrrring infront of you! If I can’t convince you, will a selfie with a dinosaur do the trick?

Zombie Outbreak
For the brave-hearted, you can enter the terrifying live-action haunted house! I can hear screams even as I was standing outside waiting for my very brave friends. Even the setups scares me, let alone going in. A big NO NO for the scardy-cat me. My friends said it was really fun despite the scary zombies, some said all you have to do is scream your entire way with half-opened eyes until you are out! LOL

Food (some of the few that I’ve tried)
Burger & Lobster: My babe hasn’t tried this before and so I urged her to come with me and she wasn’t disappointed at all. What resulted from wanting to share 1 lobster roll to each having one on our own is just amazeballs!
The Laughing Fish by Harry Ramsden: Rated themselves as the world famous fish & chips and I’m glad it didnt disappoint at all. I love the cod fish and variety of sauces that comes with it. Go for the curry sauce cos it tasted really good, the gravy in my opinion is best with meat and not fish. It’s just a weird combination. haha
High Line Roof Top Market: Featuring 7 different restaurants under one roof, I love the alfresco rooftop setting and after dining, you can enjoy the live band over some drinks as well. We tried the lobster nasi lemak, meat platters, seafood in a bucket and more… I like it!

Eureka Popcorns
You have never tried popcorns till you tried Eureka! It is super delicious and the variety of flavours is just amazing! Way cheaper than Singapore and no queue! JB outlets you still have to queue but its zero queue here! MUST BUY! My favourite is the dark chocolate, salted egg, sour cream, caramel and tomato.

Bona Cinemas
Make your next trip to the cinema even better when you screen movies in any of the IMAX or D-Box theatres. You must be thinking crazy ah, all the way to Genting just to watch a movie? I am telling you, watching movie hasn’t been this exciting for me cos the customisable motion seats moves you along with the on-screen thrills and actions!! So fun!

Genting Highlands Premium Outlets
The fear is real and I’m not sure if it’s the fear of heights or that I’m riding in a see-through-glass-floored gondola. Let’s cut the story short and I’ll simply tell you that yes, take a gondola and head over for some good shopping at the premium outlets. It is so huge I suggest you take half a day or more if you are planning to shop till you drop!

Where I stayed?
A boutique hotel for fun-loving travellers. Find quirky and playful decor in minimalist rooms designed to comfortably accommodate a party of two (Kings/ Honeymoon Suite), four (Quads) or six (Sixers). The Theme Park Hotel is located at the doorsteps of the Arena of Stars and SkyAvenue, the resort’s latest lifestyle mall.
Told you Genting isn’t what you used to perceive didn’t I? I last visited Genting possibly 15 years ago or longer! I would strongly recommend all my friends to head over to Genting if anyone were to suggest a short getaway! Genting is the new hip!
