10 Must Eat Food In Hong Kong, Causeway Bay to be exact. I went to HKG again in March to visit my bestie and I had the chance to eat my way through Hong Kong. I saw quite a bit of changes in Causeway Bay with new food stores despite the fact that I was there like 5 months ago… so I decided to compile and share my Causeway Bay finds here!
Well before you judge my imperfect drawing, at least I tried LOL, you will see that it is really useful. Start from 1 and make it your “landmark” where you can have breakfast, lunch, tea break, dessert break, snacks all at the same area! Let the food adventure begin!

The pork chop bun from Danish Bakery is absolutely delicious and if I may say, probably the best I’ve eaten in Hong Kong! The crispy pork chop in between 2 soft buns slathered with tomato and mayo, pure foodgasm! We finished this bun within minutes! There are also a few other local favourites like hot dog bun and fish burger… full of Hong Kong flavour! MUST TRY!

This is one of the small German Bakery in Hong Kong that has made a name for itself for being one of the city’s best Hot Dogs! Just by looking at the menu, I am in awe with the variety. Foie Gras Dog, Evil Cheese Quartet, Unagi Dog, salmon, turkey, lamb… you know you want it!! Foie Gras Dog Hkd108 (S$20.07) – the caramelized onions pairs really well with the foie gras and hotdog. Evil Cheese Quartet Hkd48 (S$8.92) is filled with cheese, cheese, cheese and more cheese; melted cheese, blue cheese sauce, chili cheddar and cheese kancker. Me approve!!

We went Via Tokyo twice for Wednesdays are known as ‘Reverse Tokyo’ meaning there will be NO matcha desserts served but only flavours like Hojicha and Royal Milk Tea. They have a new flavour in town which is available daily and THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE Black Sesame! It is the most delicious black sesame ice cream I have tasted by far! So rich and so very addictive.

Pretty milkshakes are so passe, how about burger meets mojito & i-shake? You can order this interesting “drinking burger” from MYOC and choose from a variety of burger and drink flavours. Here is my Wagyu Cheese with Honey Citron $126HKD (S$22.50).
6. SHARI SHARI Kakigori House 氷屋
G/F, 14 Haven Street, Causeway Bay
銅鑼灣希雲街14號地鋪

Set in a simple wooden and raw interior, I am somewhat attracted to the simple wooden interior. Here you can find premium kakigori, Japanese shaved ice, and housemade syrup. Choose from a variety of traditional to seasonal flavours, you can also enjoy kawaii wagashi, delicious souffle cake, winter special red bean soup and matcha tea sets. Strawberry Special Kakigori $78HKD (S$13.93) is impressive judging from the fluffy and light soft ice drizzled with strawberry milk syrup, whipped cream and strawberry.

Everything on I Cremeria menu looks good and their most expensive item would be the very pretty looking Premium Melon Deluxe Softserve Parfait that cost $220HKD (S$39.28)! I ordered the smaller version as shown in the picture. Japanese Premium Melon Soft Cream Parfait with Organic Brown Rice Flake $83HKD (S$14.82) – The melons are really sweet and melts in your mouth.
