Former Power 98FM DJ, Darren Wee, is the owner and the ninja behind Ninja Bowl. His latest venture, Ninja Cut, focus more on premium meats such as aburi chashu roulade, succulent roasted ribeye, curried beef cheek, all day brunch menu and more! The healthy indulgence!
The fuss-free convivial dining concept sees customers placing their orders at the counter before the meals are prepped a la minute to serve. Prices at Ninja Cut are all nett cost.
I love it when a cafe serves all day brunch menu so I can sleep in all day till I shiok then head out to get that brunch fix!
This simple looking dish is nothing simple for the cod fillet is so fresh and yummy, it got me wanting more! I’m not a huge fan of fish but this…. This Oh My Cod! S$18 is heavenly! The white miso paste added a sweet balance to this savoury dish. The cod fillet is pan-seared a la minute and served with honey-glazed carrots, asparagus and edamame, and pickled beetroot. Served best with soba.
Gimme Chimi Chicken S$14; Cajun spiced chicken breast, chimichurri sauce, quinoa is a little bland and too healthy for me but might appeal to people who are eating clean.
If you love your squid like I do, you have to try the Squid Fix S$18 for its super value for money! You are served a whole grilled Japanese squid brushed with their secret sauce! Juicy, chunky, fresh and so very addictive. I like everything else inside this bowl; sautéed mushrooms, miso cucumbers, honey glazed carrots all in one mouthful!
With a limited serving of about 30 servings a day, you will be surprise to know this wholesome slab of Australian ribeye 150g is going at S$18 nett! You can also choose the doneness for What’s Your Beef S$18 marinated with thyme, salt and pepper, served together with grilled corn, sautéed mushrooms, honey glazed carrots, onsen egg and garlic chips! SHIOK!
Another dish that made it to my favourite is the Polenta Mash S$18 with homemade aburi pork slices, generous serving of truffle polenta mash, parmesan cheese and sautéed mushrooms! OMG delicious! Perfect for anytime of the day!
The Cheeky Cheese S$18 made it easily to our MUST HAVE favourite for the night! You must be thinking just some cheese bread why make a big fuss about it? This simple looking cheese brioche sandwich is filled with savoury grilled cheese and even when it’s so sinful, one cannot help but finish them all! I kept telling myself, just one more bite and you have to stop ok Mag, but I kept repeating and ended finishing the whole lot! Eat it on its own or paired it with the 24 hour braised Japanese curry beef cheek! CRAZY SHIOK!
Marvellous Matcha S$16 = oozing matcha lava hotcake topped with ricotta cheese and speculoos crumble! Perfect for sharing! Made fresh upon order so be prepared to wait say 15-20mins. Not forgetting oh so pretty too!
