Coq & Balls
6 Kim Tian Road
HOLLA! Another food joint where we can feast our weekends away with brunch! Since opening in October last year, Coq & Balls are constantly upating their meu with new food and drinks to provide their customers with more options (we are in luck, THANK YOU)! This is what keep customers going back for more. Here with their all new weekend brunch, I sure am happy to be invited to feast it first. No worries about waking up late on weekends for brunch begins at 10am and ends at 3pm.
Fruit Beers – Celebrate and start the day with a nice fruit beer while waiting for the rest of your brunch to start.
Tofu in Century Egg & Sesame Sauce S$7.00 – I am no fan of century egg but THIS IS DELICIOUS (2 thumbs up). Cold tofu drizzled with a century egg and sesame sauce topped with generous ebiko and chives. MUST HAVE!
The Big Coq S$16.00 – As the name suggest (I’ll leave it to your imagination), this is one signature breakfast that is bound to please. LOL served with cripsy sour dough toast, sauteed mushrooms, bacon baked beans, yummy chorizo, grilled tomatoes and my all time favourite scrambled eggs.
Baked Granola with Yogurt & Wild Forest Berries S$12.00 – Healthy and so very yummy. Baked rolled oats and nuts in honey with natural top-notch yogurt and wild forest berries.
Chicken Mango Salad S$14.00 – Roasted chicken breast meat paired with romained lettuce and fresh mangoes topped with grated Parmesan cheese and honey mustard dressing. Healthy doesn’t have to be all tasteless and bland.
Baked Eggs in a Pan S$14.00 – With all my favourites; egg, potatoes and cheese, I AM A HAPPY GAL! Creamy eggs with chunks of potatoes baked with cheese. Happiness is this simple. LOVE!
Goat Cheese Tart S$16.00 – Crispy baked puff pastry filled with feta melted over creamy chunks of goat cheese with a refreshing homemade salsa. Not really my favourite for the goat cheese is a tad too strong for me.
No meal is complete without desserts therefore we had 2 yummy cakes as the perfect finale to our brunch. Do head over and try these delicious dishes yourself and keep me posted.
