Friends who know me, knows I don’t cook. I don’t like cooking nor do I have the interest to learn. Recently, my cooking instinct started kicking in. I wanted to learn the art of cooking from my all time idol, mama chow aka my mummy. LOL She can be cooking western food one day, prawn noodle the other, prata the next day, yam cake etc etc…She is always bugging me to learn and I finally did. Hahahaha… Maybe I am finally sick of eating out.
I decided to surprise D and cook pasta for dinner. I bought all the ingredients during lunch and D won’t be back from work till 9pm so my surprise is absolutely foolproof. Haha I made chicken mushroom pasta. Yummy… Thanks bud for that bottle of olive oil… Anyway, D was really touched and loved his dinner. So touched, he washed all the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Hahahahahahahaha ~tan tio~
Weekend wasn’t that good for I brought a whole bag of albums home to do up my SQ’s proposal. Though that, I was still in the cooking mood and got D to go to the market after his night shift to get ‘curry chap chye’ ingredients. Hahaha… if I’m cooking with D around, he will end up doing all the things. He wouldn’t allow me to touch or do stuffs and will always end up interfering for fear I will get hurt. Tsk tsk… I feel really good that I get to do everything from the start by myself; from peeling potato to cutting, to washing cabbage, to frying dao gua etc… shiok shiok. Hahahahahaha D woke up and we ate and yap…he ended doing all the dishes and cleaning. LOL… I feel blessed.
Watched Confessions of A Shopaholic with bud and it was ok. The storyline is nice, her dressing is really pretty and her character is so adorable and vibrant but I was kinda disappointed with the fashion stuffs. I saw more fashion in Sex and The City and The Devil Wears Prada than Confessions of A Shopaholic. I enjoyed the book better but I don’t mind watching it again.
