Sanrio, in collaboration with Kumoya, presents “Cinnamoroll flies to Kumoya”. From now till 13 August 2017, you can get to enjoy Main Courses, Desserts and Beverages all carrying the themed Cinnamoroll character.
The collaboration with Kumoya, Singapore’s first Halal-certified Japanese-French cafe is to mark Cinnamoroll’s 15th anniversary. The whole experience is designed to be a wonderful hit for fans of this cute fluffy character, and is further enhanced with the specially commissioned Cinnamoroll theme décor at Kumoya. Did you know Cinnamoroll is the 2nd most popular Sanrio character in Japan?
* I was there before they were open for business thus the darker lighting.
I really like this dish Fun with Friends Cold Pasta S$17.90 for the cold pasta with goma dressing is really appetizing, not forgetting cute as well with the specially designed Cinnamoroll mantou. Served together the ebi prawns, pasta crisps and heart shaped chicken ham.
Happy Floppy Heart Chicken Karaage with Waffles S$19.90 is one hearty dish with buttery waffles paired with karaage chicken and house-made sweet shoyu glazed. Cute right?? I must add that not all cute themed cafes served lousy food. At least not the ones from Kumoya.
You can’t go wrong if you choose chocolate and this drink is my favourite among the rest. Sweet Heart Iced Chocolate S$8.90 served together with a cute Cinnamoroll cookie, heart-shaped marshmallows and topped with whipped cream.
I won’t order this unless you really want a cute fluffy Cinnamoroll face. I enjoy the nata de coco but the blue curacao syrup tasted kinda like cough syrup or worst. I don’t enjoy this Cutie Cutie Special Cinnamoroll Blue Soda S$14.90 for it’s just soda with bleah syrup.
I will most likely order the Iced Chocolate and this Sweet Fluffy Dreams Rose Tea S$13.90 because I really enjoy the light rose fragrance and also because this beautiful giant fluffy cotton candy cloud! So pretty!
Flying in the Clouds Yuzu Chiffon Cake S$15.90 is very cute as you can tell but the sponge cake was a little dense and the yuzu must be pretty mild cos I can’t really taste it. Order the next dish instead!
I’ve always enjoyed the soft souffle cheesecake at Kumoya so order this Cinnamoroll Berries Fantasy Parfait S$17.90 if you must pick 1 dessert.
Overall I had a good time at Kumoya x Cinnamoroll Themed Cafe for everything is so cute from the interiors to the hanging clouds to all the cute dishes and drinks! It’s a good place for loads of photo taking with friends.
