I am donning more shirt dresses, shorts and berms these days with a lot more confidence! It really helped that I can wear whatever I like and want, instead of letting my leg hair decide! A simple act such as heading downstairs to get my mail, I have to change and put on a long pants. What is this Super Hair Removal (SHR) technique and how is this treatment different from your SHR previously for your lower calves?
This technique called Super Hair Removal (SHR) is to effectively remove unwanted hair permanently from the face, leg, arm, underarm, bikini line and other areas. A board spectrum light is delivered repetitively (20-30 shots per second) to destroy hair follicles and prevent re-growth, while avoiding injury to the surrounding tissue.
The procedure is the same and so comfortable you don’t feel a thing except for the occasionally burning smell of your hair (and no, it is not painful at all). My beauty advisors told me that the hair on our thigh is relatively thinner so the positive results will be a lot faster.
I did notice after the 1st session, I did not have to shave until the 3rd week! After the 2nd session, I didn’t even have to shave till after 1.5 months with a few strands of hair here and there! So ya the difference is that I notice slower growth of my thigh hair and that I shaved a lot lesser as compared to my calves.
Is Super Hair Removal (SHR) really painless cos the light seems scary?

I do not always get the same beautician but no matter who I have gotten, they never fail to check with me my progress and whatever concerns I still have. When they notice hair growth or open pores on certain areas, they will tell me so that I can observe back home while they go through that area a few times more “killing” whatever hair is left.
