I haven’t seen such beautiful desserts since one of my favourite ice-cream joint, Icekimo, closed down for business. Since 1986, Azzura has built a solid reputation as a multi award-winning purveyor of the finest gelato desserts. Using only the best ingredients to produce a creamy and smooth tasting dessert with excellent texture, each gelato is made from scratch in Perth.

Iced Latte S$4.00 – Rich in flavour and perfect for the hot weather!
Chocolate cappuccino cups – Award winning cappuccino cups awarded by the Dairy Industry Association of Australia! I call them “eating coffee” for you can eat it as a whole; the cups are made with chocolate and the coffee mousse is rich in flavour!
Cappuccino S$4.00 – The real cuppa vs The mousse cuppa! You can now choose to drink your coffee or eat it! LOL
Pandan Coconut Truffle S$8.90 – The owner made this just for us locals! The all time popular local flavour, pandan! How thoughtful and creative. I heard they are trying out more local flavours like durians and more. The pandan taste is nice and fragrant but I wish the taste is slightly stronger.
Coppa Bianco S$8.90 – The outer layer is made of chocolate truffle and the inside filled with vanilla bean. Eat it together with the peanuts for that extra crunch! Yums!
Peach S$8.90 – The peach looks so delicious and sweet just like the real deal! What you don’t know is that, you are in for surprise if you dig deeper into the tasty peach ice cream! You will be able to find the “seed” in the center and eat it too! This “seed” is actually a Ferrero Rocher! So very creative!
Fresh Waffle (with Chocolate & Maple Sauce) S$6.00
+ Single Scoop S$9.00 + Double Scoop S$11.00
– The waffle is really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We had a mixture of gelato flavours; Blossom Nougat (very interesting and complicated mix of nougat, rosewater and a mixture of other ingredients. Addictive!), Butterscotch (just the way I love it, sweet and buttery), Sesame (thick and not as sweet), Blueberry Cheesecake (yummy) and Buttered Peanut (very very delicious)!
**Please note that just for this food review, the nice marketing lady allowed us to choose more flavours in smaller scoop so that we get more variety for tasting.
I am blown away by the pretty looking desserts and with the wide variety of gelato available, this has become my favourite ice-cream joint! I will definitely be back to try the Honey Bee, Blossom Bombe and more! Do check out their Facebook Page for it’s updated with Dessert of the Month!
